运用文献资料法、内容分析法和数理统计法,从报道时间数量、报道主题、报道角度、报道倾向、报道体裁五个方面,对《南方都市报》2008-2016年间刊发的奥运冠军报道进行分析,旨在发现国内主流媒体构建奥运冠军媒介形象的特征。结果表明,《南方都市报》对奥运冠军的报道数量变化呈现“W”形特征,奥运年报道达到峰值;该报较关注奥运冠军的个人主题,特别是其广告活动;介绍说明的报道角度最多,事实界定其次;对奥运冠军形象的客观构建,符合该报一贯的“立场中立”定位;通讯报道的体裁最多,且大量配合使用图片或漫画等非文字形式。综合来看,《南方都市报》对奥运冠军的构建呈现出群体形象的“应时性”和个体形象的“个性化”两大特征,进一步关注社会主题、加大对策建议类报道应该成为该报今后的报道方向。 |

Analysis on the Characteristics of Media Image of Olympic Champions Based on Content Analysis |

Abstract: |
By methods of literature, content analysis and mathematical statistics, from the aspects of the amount of report time, report themes, report angles, report tendency and report genres, this paper analyzes the reports of Olympic champions published in the Southern Metropolis Daily from 2008 to 2016, aiming to find out the characteristics of Olympic champions’ media image constructed by domestic mainstream media. The results show that the changes of reports quantity about Olympic champions in the Southern Metropolis Daily present a Wshaped feature, reports in Olympic years reach the peak; this newspaper is more concerned about the personal themes of Olympic champions, especially their advertising campaigns; in term of report angles, “introduction and description” are used most, followed by “fact definition”; the objective construction of Olympic champions’ image conforms to the newspaper’s consistent neutral position; “newsletter” is the most widely used report genre, and used extensively in combination with pictures or comics and other nontext forms. Taken together, the construction of Olympic champions’ media image by Southern Metropolis Daily has two characteristics: one is “contemporaneity” of group image; the other is “personalization” of individual image. For this newspaper, further focusing on social themes and increasing reports with suggestions should be its future report directions. |
