通过实验,探讨西瓜汁作为一种潜在功能性饮料在缓解运动员肌肉酸疼中的作用。用普通天然西瓜汁、高温处理的西瓜汁及作为对照的L瓜氨酸标准品,利用人源肠Caco2细胞单层模型,对L瓜氨酸的转运过程进行体外研究。结果发现,L瓜氨酸作为西瓜汁的成分且没有经过高温处理的条件下,其生物利用度较高。在体内进行实验时,给7名运动员分别提供普通天然西瓜汁、增强L瓜氨酸的西瓜汁和安慰剂。结果表明,普通天然西瓜汁和增强L瓜氨酸的西瓜汁均具有缩短运动者运动后心率恢复时间及缓解运动后肌肉酸痛的功效;普通西瓜汁饮料更具有生物药效,更利于身体吸收。西瓜汁作为一种潜在功能性饮料有待开发应用。 |

The Role of Watermelon Juice as a Potential Functional Drink in Athletes’ Muscle Soreness Relief |

Abstract: |
This study investigates the role of watermelon juice as a potential functional drink in relieving athletes’ muscle soreness by experiment. Human intestinal Caco2 cell monolayer model is applied to make an in vitro study about the operation process of Lcoralline using common natural watermelon juice,pasteurized watermelon juice and a standard of Lcoralline as control sample. The results show that bioavailability of Lcoralline as ingredient of watermelon without pasteurization is greater. In the in vivo experiment,seven athletes are supplied with natural watermelon juice,Lcoralline enriched watermelon juice,and placebo. The results show that both natural watermelon juice and Lcoralline enriched watermelon juice watermelon juices have the function of reducing the recovery duration of heart rate and relieve muscle soreness after exercise. Natural watermelon juice has bigger biological effect,and it is easier to absorb. Watermelon juice as a potential functional drink could be valuable in future development and application. |
