Abstract: |
The material of oral history has aroused the attention in the Wushu community to pictography, and then caused people to rethink the phenomena of Chinese Wushu image. There are many schools of Chinese Wushu, but they all have a pictographic element which is typical in Xingyiquan, Baguaquan and Taijiquan in internal school boxing. The bionic object of Chinese Wushu covers a variety of creatures and natural phenomena and it has close blood ties with health preservation, dance and witchcraft. The tradition of learning from nature not only embodies the uniqueness of human bionic behavior in ancient China but also shows the harmony between human and nature, and it has the potential significance of reflecting oneself, imitating nature and promoting the evolution of all creatures. |
