| In the form of academic commentary, focusing on the characteristics and important aspects of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, we should grasp the new changes in the new pattern of world football and touch the academic research and practical ideas of sports. Through in-depth analysis of the cultural communication characteristics of the FIFA World Cup 2022 mascot, opening ceremony and theme song, and the understanding of the glocalization model of the competition-holding culture, it tells the cultural proposition of localization, with the expression of globalization. This paper gains insight into the full coverage of computer-assisted competition penalty and the ethical risks of artificial intelligence applications through critical thinking. The new pattern of world football presents a historical process of eclecticism. In the future, the strong teams will be the perfect combination of skills, integrity and technology. Media spectacle constructs football spells, and those who break football spells and create football history are players or teams who dare to meet great challenges. The trend of player migration continues the “core-semi periphery-periphery” hierarchical structure of the world system, with the five major leagues of world football as the center, forming a long-term solidified development trend.
