通过分析日本作家村上春树《当我谈跑步时我谈些什么》,对“业余选手为什么要跑马拉松”进行归因,以深化对马拉松这一项目以及对现代体育的功能、价值的理解。研究认为,业余选手之所以要跑马拉松,不能仅从简单易行、科技助力、媒体宣传、政企推广等外在方面去理解,马拉松项目特性及其带给参与者的独特体验才是根本原因,具体来讲,马拉松是体育精神的象征,是权力意志的体现,能够带给参与者以心理慰藉。现代体育的真正价值在于使人体验自主与潜力、促进人的自由全面发展。 |

Why Do You Want to Run a Marathon——A Text Analysis Based on Haruki Murakami’s What I Talk about When I Talk about Running |

Abstract: |
Through analyzing Haruki Murakami’s book what I talk about when I Talk about running, this article tries to find out the reasons why the amateur players want to run a marathon in order to deepen the understanding of marathon and the function and value of modern sports. The study claims that the reason why amateurs run marathon, is not only because of its external aspects such as being simple, science support, media publicity, governmententerprise promotion. Marathon’s particular features and its participants’ unique experience are the fundamental reasons. In particular, marathon is a symbol of sport spirit and a manifestation of power will, which can bring the participants with psychological comfort. The true value of modern sports is to enable participants to experience autonomy and potential, and promote human being’s free and allround development. |
