Abstract:
Taking the marathon events held in 31 provinces of China from 2014 to 2019 as the research data, the spatial distribution and autocorrelation characteristics of marathon events in various regions of China are analyzed by using geospatial econometric analysis model. The results show that: ①The spatial autocorrelation of marathon events in 31 provinces is positively correlated on the whole. Its distribution has obvious spatial agglomeration and strong spatial dependence, but this dependence and spatial agglomeration have a downward trend. ②There are some spatial heterogeneity in marathon events in China and obvious bipolar differences in the development of marathon events in the East and West, and the Matthew Effect of the development of marathon events is gradually strengthened. ③There are significant spatial agglomeration characteristics in the development of marathon events in Xinjiang and the eastern coastal areas, but most areas have not formed a significant spatial agglomeration relationship with the surrounding adjacent areas, and this situation has not changed much over the years. On this basis, this paper puts forward such suggestions as inter regional cooperation in organizing competitions, inclining to areas with poor development and fanning out from point to area in order to promote the overall development of the national marathon.
